Director and Interior Designer

 

Becci has over 30 years of experience in styling and design, and has worked with a wide range of businesses and people; from retail giant John Lewis to Hampshire based farm shops, and a great many property owners looking to turn where they live into their dream home.

Becci started Hiltingbury Interiors in 2016 to create a career where she could focus on some of the most exciting elements of the design industry, sharing her skills and building her business around family life.

Becci loves being able to work with local craftsmen, skilled trades people and some of the best brands in interior design to bring you a choice that aligns with your needs and tastes, creating a bespoke style that you are guaranteed to fall in love with. Her favourite part of her job is bringing every element together to deliver the wow moment when you first walk into your perfect space!

 

Bex Whitmarsh

Client Project Manager

 

Bex had eight years’ experience working in commercial and retail environments, primarily working at a strategic group level for Kingfisher Group PLC and managing international stakeholder relations.

This gave her the chance to liaise and build relationships with stakeholders internationally across six operating companies where she was responsible for improving sales and implementing new ranges, where she gained valuable insights into business management.

Bex bought her first home in 2018 and renovated it throughout, a project which sparked a creative flair. After being introduced to Becci and learning about her business, she began exploring a new direction, completed a course in Interior Design and took on some renovation projects to test her new skills.

Bex loves making an impact for clients, where her friendly nature, project management and exceptional attention to detail combine perfectly with creativity to provide a high-quality service with a smile!

 

Ali Evans

Construction and Refurbishment Project Manager

 

Ali has over 35 years of retail operations and design management experience with John Lewis, where she and Becci worked with each other for over 25 years. Their combined skills mean that together they are able to fully manage and coordinate your project from start to finish.

Retail projects are not the only string to Ali’s bow; she also has experience in property development where she proved to be a bit of an all-round handy girl, with skills in decorating, building an extension, tiling, paving and kitchen fitting!

Alongside her career designing and managing department store openings and refurbishments, Ali has also studied and qualified in Project Management. These days she loves nothing more than getting stuck in on site and organising multiple trades!

 

Rachel Robinson

Social Media and Marketing Assistant

 

Rachel has a Textile Design and Design Management degree from Manchester University and has studied interior design, which has always been a keen interest. She has worked in various roles, including as a carpet designer, in business development and marketing for commercial architects’ practices in London and Dubai, and as a studio manager.

Rachel is always out and about in Winchester and involved in various projects. She has two children and a husband who’s sporting career involves international travel and stints abroad, so has moved around quite a bit. Rachel is currently enjoying renovating their new home – a great opportunity to use all the design knowledge she has picked up at Hiltingbury Interiors!
