Linwood Chesil fabric on headbaord

Hello again!

Summer holidays are over and for many life returns to a routine of school and work; with order restored, there is headspace for thinking about the coming Autumn months. The new season brings the perfect opportunity for a fresh look in your home. We have some exciting projects we can’t wait to get working on, but there is still space in our schedule, so if you have any ideas you'd like to bring to life, now is a great time to get in touch.

Our Soft Furnishing Solutions

Remember, we don’t just do whole room makeovers, or complete house redesigns. If all you need is a few finishing touches to pull your space together, perhaps consider some new bespoke soft furnishings. We work with many local specialists, so we can deliver exactly what you are looking for, whether that be curtains, cushions, blinds, or a footstool. We have over 400 different collections in our fabric library, featuring leading designer brands such as Romo, Villa Nova, Linwood, Jane Churchill, Pure Edit and Ashley Wilde, so we are confident we can find a fabric you'll love.

Linwood fabrics

Shining the spotlight on Linwood

On the topic of soft furnishings, we thought this month we would highlight one of our go-to fabric houses, Linwood. They are one of our favourite brands, and if you take a look through our portfolio, you’ll see their fabrics appearing time and time again. We'll always have a particular fondness for them, as they are based in Hampshire - just like us! So, we thought it would be a good time to highlight some of their latest collections, released over the past year.

Lola is Linwood’s new striped print, which comes in 24 different colourways. We love the high contrast colour schemes, which can create an eye-catching moment without overpowering the rest of the space. Equally, there is Chesil, a beautiful woven fabric collection, crafted from rich tactile yarns. The natural variation in the weaves is perfect for homes seeking to add organic character. Also new from Linwood is Pluto, a gorgeous upholstery collection woven in an Italian mill. Born from generations of craftsmanship, it still feels entirely current thanks to its fire-retardant, stain-resistant finish. Our final collection from Linwood to highlight is Titania. We love this bold reimagining of classic floral and striped designs, full of gorgeous textured embroideries, created in the very nearby Hampshire studio. Very whimsical, as my daughter would say!

Linwood fabric collection

Linwood's signature Omega Velvet fabric is our favourite for upholstering sofas and chairs. The latest Omega IV collection is both fire and stain resistant, with 154 shades to choose from. Inca is the latest printed velvet range, crafted using Linwood’s classic Omega fabric. These fabrics are incredibly soft and comfortable, whilst adding plenty of character through the irregular diamond design. It was released following the success of the Helter Skelter range, another collection we absolutely love. If you are looking to introduce something fun and unique into your home, both the Inca and Helter Skelter are a great way to do so, without compromising on quality or feel.

MacMillan Coffee Morning

Let's Do Coffee!

In other news, our Macmillan Coffee Morning is back for 2026, and we would love to see you at our studio to help support a cause very close to all of our hearts. Cancer has touched so many of us in different ways, and events like this help us give back to the professionals who provide support to those in need. Last year the money we raised was able to provide 24 sessions of support through the Macmillan Buddies system.

Please do come along, you can expect plenty of tasty sweet treats and a raffle, as well as the perfect opportunity for a catch-up, all whilst raising money for a truly fantastic charity. Plus, 10% of sales from home and giftware in the studio, and any purchases made next door at CB Boutique, will be donated to Macmillan. Once again, a massive thank you to Caroline for her support, we are lucky to have such lovely neighbours.
