Plans for 2026, decluttering and fresh website content

Welcome back!

We’re excited to be back and ready to make 2026 another successful year for both us and our clients. We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing Christmas break spent celebrating with family and friends. It served as a lovely reminder of why interiors matter so much - they create personal spaces where people can gather, celebrate and share meals together in a truly homely environment.

In the spirit of the New Year, now is the perfect time to declutter. As you pack away the Christmas decorations, take a moment to reassess your everyday interiors. Consider which pieces are your staples, which might be ready to retire, and where there may be room for something new. When reviewing your space, anything on display should serve a clear purpose: practical, sentimental, or simply something that consistently brings you joy. Thoughtful storage solutions are equally important, allowing you to neatly tuck away the everyday clutter and admin that needs to be kept, but not seen.

What’s new in the studio

Continuing the theme of storage, we're excited about a recent delivery of beautiful new baskets that offer a practical yet stylish solution. Perfect for life’s less glamorous items, they help keep everything in one place while still looking lovely on display. Our baskets are from The Basket Room and are all handcrafted by women’s cooperatives in Kenya, inspired by traditional artisan patterns. In fact, in your basket you will find the name of the lady who weaved it! These pieces not only support African, female artists, but also celebrate the heritage of basket weaving, whilst remaining sustainable and kind to the planet. We are proud to stock these products on our shelves, designed for contemporary living yet made with ethics and heart.

In other news, we’re delighted to share some fabulous new additions to the studio: five beautiful books by Jane Churchill. The Zander collection of decorative velvets is bold and confident, featuring contemporary geometric motifs alongside abstract animal-inspired designs. Coro takes a similar cue from nature but leans more towards botanical forms, paired with quirky abstract patterns in soft tones and cheerful colourways. Their new Huxley weave is understated and elegant, with a gentle natural texture that works beautifully for both upholstery and drapery. Not brand-new collections, but new to our shelves, are the Cleo decorative velvets - modern interpretations of classic animal spots - and the Hudson Weaves, a range of soft, handwoven-inspired designs that add warmth to any scheme. Pop into the studio to see for yourself if any of these collections have piqued your interest.

Looking ahead into 2026

Across our next four newsletters, we will be running a series that breaks down each stage of a design and renovation project, helping to support you on your journey and ensuring nothing important is overlooked. Next month, we will kick the series off with a focus on the initial architectural stage, featuring expert advice from Laurence Wright at V&L Architects. We will then move on to the all-important build stage, with insight from our friends at Adam Hurst Construction. Following this we will then cover the crucial, yet often forgotten, topic of insurance, before concluding the series with our advice on interiors and soft furnishings. We hope this series will inform and educate you, helping your project to run as smoothly and confidently as possible.

New case studies

We’ve taken the opportunity over the Christmas break to pull together a few new case studies. So, if  you visit our website, you can now view the three latest additions to our portfolio page, showcasing some fantastic results from recent projects. We are incredibly proud of our team and the homes we have created, and we hope these images inspire you on your own design journey.

Best wishes
